Phase 1 Unacceptable Foods List

+All Foods listed on the Phase 2 Acceptable Foods List
Alcohol of any kind, including beer and wine
Beef - Brisket fatty cuts, Rib steaks, Jerky, Liver
Breads (all) no bread products in Phase 1
Caffeine-Containing Beverages Limited to 1-2 servings per day
cereal (all) no grains in Phase 1
Cheese - Brie, Edam, Nonreduced fat
Cocktail Sauce
Fruits (all) Avoid all fruits in Phase 1
Ketchup
pasta (all) no starches on Phase 1
Pork - Honey Baked Ham, Pork Rinds (too high in saturated fat)
Poultry -Chicken Legs, Goose, Duck, Chicken wings, Poultry products, processed
rice (all) no starches in ph 1
Veal Breast
Vegetables - carrots, Corn, Yams, Beets, Potatoes both white and sweet in Phase 1


Phase 2 Unacceptable Foods List

Breads - Bagel, rolls/buns
Cereal - Cornflakes
Condiments - honey, jams and jellies
Cookies
Crackers
Dairy - ice cream, all whole fat dairy products
Fruit - canned in heavy syrup, canned in light syrup or natural juices, fresh Pineapple, Raisins, Watermelon
Fruit Juices
Rice Cakes
Rice - white
Vegetables - Beets, Corn, white Potatoes
Veggetables- parsnips

Phase 2 Foods you can reintroduce to your diet

FRUIT: Apples, Apricots - dried fresh, Banana (1 medium per day), Blueberries, Cantaloupe, Cherries, Grapefruit, Grapes, Kiwi, Mangoes, Oranges, Peaches, Pears, Plums, Strawberries

DAIRY (limit to 2 cups total per day): Milk, light soy fat-free or 1% Yogurt, light, fruit-flavored (4oz per day),
plain, low-fat or fat-free

STARCHES (USE SPARINGLY): Bagels; small, whole grain Bread; multigrain oat and bran rye; sourdough whole wheat Cereal; Fiber One; Kellogg's Extra-Fiber All Bran; oatmeal (not instant) other high-fiber Uncle Sam; Muffins, bran - sugar-free (no raisins) Pasta, whole wheat Pita stone-ground, whole wheat Popcorn, Potato, small, sweet Rice brown, wild Pumpkin


VEGETABLES AND LEGUMES: Barley, Beans, pinto, Black-eyed peas, green Peas, carrots

MISCELLANEOUS: Chocolate (sparingly), bittersweet, semisweet, fat-free Pudding, red Wine
